LiftX operates with a privacy-first philosophy. We believe your workout data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how LiftX handles your information.

By using LiftX, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. No Account Required

We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or set a password to use LiftX.

You can use all features of the app without ever revealing your identity to us. We do not maintain a database of user emails or passwords.

2. Where Your Data Lives (Local Storage)

Your data is stored locally on your device.

All "Nerd Stats," workout logs, body measurements, and journals you input into LiftX are saved directly to your smartphone's internal storage.

  • Control: Because data is stored on your device, you have full control over it.

  • Backups: If you use system-level backups (like iCloud Backup for iOS or Google Drive Backup for Android), your LiftX data will be included in those encrypted backups managed by Apple or Google. We do not have access to these backups.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

To be clear:

  • We do not collect your name.

  • We do not collect your email address.

  • We do not collect your phone number.

  • We do not collect your credit card information directly (transactions are handled anonymously through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

4. Information We May Collect Automatically (Analytics)

While we do not track who you are, we may use anonymous, aggregated analytics tools (such as Apple App Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics) to help us fix crashes and improve the app. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Examples of anonymous data include:

  • Crash reports (e.g., "The app crashed on the Settings screen").

  • Device type (e.g., "iPhone 14" or "Pixel 7").

  • Aggregate feature usage (e.g., "80% of users enable the RIR toggle").

5. Data Deletion

Since we do not host your data on our servers, deleting your data is simple:

  • Delete the App: Uninstalling LiftX from your device will permanently remove all local data associated with the app.

  • In-App Reset: You may also use the "Clear All Data" option within the app settings to wipe your database while keeping the app installed.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
